Legal
Terms of Use
These terms supplement Apple’s standard license terms and describe the responsibilities that come with running generative image models on your device. Please read them before using Onhand.
Effective and last updated: August 30, 2026
Apple’s Standard EULA applies
Onhand is licensed, not sold. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app. These Terms supplement that agreement. If a provision conflicts, Apple’s Standard EULA controls to the extent required for App Store distribution.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading or using Onhand, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to agree to these Terms, and legally able to enter into them. A parent or guardian must authorize use when required by law.
2. What the app provides
Onhand provides on-device tools for generating and editing images with compatible model packages. Features, model availability, speed, output quality, and device compatibility can differ by iPhone, iOS version, storage, memory, thermal state, app version, and model.
3. License to use Onhand
Subject to these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s usage rules. You may not redistribute, rent, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass safeguards, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. Model packages and third-party terms
Model packages and software components may be provided under separate third-party licenses. Those licenses govern the relevant package or component and may impose attribution, acceptable-use, redistribution, commercial-use, or other requirements. The app identifies available notices under Settings → Models, licenses & credits. If these Terms differ from a third-party license, that license controls the third-party material.
5. Your prompts, photos, and outputs
As between you and Onhand, we claim no ownership of the prompts, source photos, or generated outputs you create with the app. Your rights in an output can depend on applicable law, the source material, and the model’s license. You are responsible for confirming that you have the necessary rights to input material and to use, publish, or commercialize an output.
Generative models can produce unexpected, inaccurate, similar, offensive, or potentially infringing material. Review outputs before relying on or sharing them. No output is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
You must use Onhand lawfully and must not use it to:
- Create or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content involving minors.
- Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, exploit, or invade another person’s privacy.
- Infringe intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
- Create unlawful deceptive content, fraud, malware, or instructions intended to cause harm.
- Disable safety measures, attack the model-delivery service, scrape or redistribute hosted packages without permission, or interfere with other users.
- Violate export controls, sanctions, or the applicable acceptable-use terms of a model provider.
7. Safety measures
The app may use on-device prompt and image screening to withhold certain content. No safety system is perfect, and a permitted output is not an endorsement or a determination that the output is lawful. We may change safeguards, supported models, and usage limits when reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, service security, or product quality.
8. Downloads and connectivity
Model packages require internet access to download and may be large. Your carrier or internet provider may charge for data. A model host may be changed, interrupted, or unavailable. You may use fully installed models offline when the relevant app feature supports it.
9. Purchases
If Onhand is offered as a paid app or later includes purchases, Apple processes those transactions under the App Store terms shown at purchase. Refunds and billing questions are handled under Apple’s applicable policies. Features described on this site may change before commercial release.
10. Updates, suspension, and termination
We may update, replace, limit, or discontinue features or model packages. Your license ends if you materially violate these Terms or the applicable EULA. After termination, stop using the app and remove it from your devices. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and third-party licenses, survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onhand, its outputs, model downloads, and related services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, a particular output, or that an output is accurate, unique, lawful, or suitable for a particular purpose. Mandatory consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or claims arising from your use of an output or third-party material. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Legal compliance and worldwide use
You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you use the app and where an output is published. You represent that you are not prohibited from using the app under applicable sanctions or export-control laws. The governing-law and dispute provisions in Apple’s Standard EULA apply to the app license, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or App Store listing when appropriate. Continuing to use the app after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
